There are two 1992 first round draft picks in this pack, representing the first picks for both New York teams.  They both excelled academically in high school.  And they both have the ugliest Topps rookie cards ever:

Derek Jeter (New York Yankees)

Derek declined a scholarship offer from University of Michigan to sign with the Yankees.  The holder of all but one offensive record at Central (Kalamazoo) High School, he belted 3 Home Runs in his first 3 games last season.  Derek possesses an extremely strong arm, he’s been clocked at 90 m.p.h. in throw from shortstop to first base.  He has good range at shortstop and his foot speed is excellent.  Derek had a 3.82 Grade Point Average.  Finished 21st in his Central High School class of 250.

Preston Wilson (New York Mets)

Preston’s South Carolina-record of 22 Home Runs at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School in 1992 earned him selection as Baseball America’s first High School Player of the Year.  He also set State records in Runs, Hits and RBI while setting a National standard with 7 Grand Slams.  Preston also compiled a record of 13-0 with 1.98 ERA and 95 Strikeouts in 81 Innings as a pitcher.  Was class valedictorian with 4.0 Grade-Point Average.
