2004 Topps Traded and Rookies:

  1. #T138 Brock Jacobsen (First Year) (Rookie)
  2. #T178 J.J. Furmaniak (First Year) (Rookie)
  3. #T4 Juan Uribe
  4. #T217 Sergio Silva (First Year) (Rookie)
  5. Chrome Traded #T94 Chin-Feng Chen (Prospects)
  6. Chrome Traded #T135 Chad Bentz (First Year) (Rookie)
  7. #T46 Victor Zambrano
  8. #T208 David Pauley (First Year) (Rookie)
  9. #T17 Carlos Beltran
  10. #T207 Brad Eldred (First Year) (Rookie)

…and a thick Traded and Rookies Checklist 2 of 10.  Interestingly, it says on the checklist that you can collect all 110 of these checklists to build a poster image of all 732 regular base cards.  Not sure if anyone has ever done this before, as it doesn’t seem worth the effort unless you wanted to frame it.

Chin-Feng first came to the United States with Taiwan’s 1990 Little League World Series champions.  He returned as a Dodgers signee in ’99, after batting .425 in eight international tournaments in ’96-’98, and promptly hit 31 homers at Bakersfield (A).  Chen advanced to Las Vegas (AAA) in ’02, but has made only a few brief appearances with the Dodgers despite twice hitting 26 HRs for the 51s.

Chin-Feng Chen was the first Taiwanese player to play in the Major Leagues.
