The silk card is pretty neat looking in person.  It even has a little window so you can feel the silk.  Now that’s what I call gimmickery!  It feels like I should put this card into my daughter’s toy box instead of into my display case (but nonetheless, it’s going into the display case for now).

Isn’t it kind of ironic that the 2010 reprint of the Babe Ruth 100th Birthday card is valued much more than the original?  Beckett lists this card at $6, while the original at only $2.  I guess it’s no big loss that Mom threw out the original:
