2004 Topps Series 1:

Alan, called “Mr. Tiger” by some for his meritorious service as a player in Detroit, inherited a talent deficit in 2003, his rookie year as manager.  Few doubt he’ll get the job done eventually.  The classy Trammell’s playing days ended in 1996, his 20th ML season.  In ’99, he was the Tigers hitting coach, then moved to San Diego as a coach for three years before being summoned back to the Motor City.

  1. #277 Alan Trammell (Manager)
  2. #260 Eric Gagne
  3. #119 Adam Eaton
  4. #53 Jose Jimenez
  5. #74 Lance Carter
  6. #355 Juan Pierre (Postseason Highlights)
  7. #11 Kevin Millwood
  8. #48 Carl Pavano
  9. #16 David Segui
  10. #228 Kazuhiro Sasaki
