Joe Sports Fan (http://www.joesportsfan.com/)

According to their website, Joe Sports Fan is “an online publication celebrating the absurdity of professional sports”.  Of particular interest to baseball card collectors is their Worthless Card Collection.  It is a collection of old baseball cards with humorous captions for each card.

A Pack A Day website

A Pack A Day website

A Pack A Day

Soon after I began collecting baseball cards again, I found the A Pack A Day site.  It is the inspiration behind this site.

A Pack A Day is a group of 30 or so card collectors who open packs and blog about it.  The packs featured on the site are mainly 1980′s and newer baseball cards of all brands and varieties, but other sports and even some non-sports cards are also featured from time to time.

Baseball Card Site of the Month

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

While there are a lot fewer baseball card collectors out there now, the remaining collectors seem seem more tightly knit.  Card collecting blogs seem to be fairly popular in the community now, with people sharing their finds and insights online.  I’ve been frequenting a few of these blogs for a couple months now and I’d like to share some of my favorite sites here.

Starting this month, I’ll share one of my favorite baseball card sites each month, right here on the Topps 25 blog.
