On April 8, 2006, Prince Fielder hit the first of 28 home runs for the season.  It was a solo shot off of Brandon Webb of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Prince hit a league-leading 50 homers the following season.  He has 9 so far this season.

Steve struck out a career-high 310 — 61 more than anyone else in the League.”

I wasn’t aware that the letters “NL” were trademarked by Major League Baseball.

Nice action shot of Prince Fielder (AKA “The World’s Fattest Vegetarian”, as Chris Harris of Stale Gum likes to say) showing some surprising agility.  Both Pujols and Fielder consistently hit 40 home runs per season.
