1994 Topps boxes
1994 Topps hobby boxes come with 36 packs having 12 cards each. Each pack has a Topps Gold parallel insert. The suggested retail price of the packs is 79¢ each.
Barry Larkin and Spike Owen are featured on the series 1 box top. Pete Harnisch and Roberto Alomar grace the series 2 box top. Mike Piazza is featured on every series 2 pack wrapper.
The 1994 set was released in 2 series, each series having 396 cards. The complete 1994 Topps set consists of 792 cards.
For 1994, the promotion advertised on the box is “Topps Gold card in every pack! Special Topps Black Gold cards randomly inserted!” Series 2 has Topps Finest cards randomly inserted in addition to the Gold and Black Gold cards.

The base set totals 792 cards and was issued in mini, mini jumbo, wax, rack, jumbo, jumbo rack, factory set, or Bakers Dozen factory sets. Subsets include All-Stars, Stat Twins, Draft Picks, Prospects, and Checklist cards. Size: the standard 2-1/2 X 3-1/2 in.
The Topps Gold set consists of 792 cards that are identical to the base cards except for gold foil stamped player names and Topps logos on the face of the cards. Each pack includes one Topps Gold insert card. The checklist cards were replaced with player cards.
The Topps Black Gold set totals 44 cards and was available as a pack or factory set insert or by using redemption cards. The fronts feature a player action photo with gold foil player and team names. Size: standard 2-1/2 X 3-1/2 in.
